Why Your Story?
Whether you were a school teacher, dentist, stay-at-home mom, professor or the president of a Fortune 500 company, I believe everyone has a story to share. Each life is unique and filled with experiences that provide wisdom and truth.
We learn so much from those that have came before us. We learn about fear and courage, love and loss, mistakes and victories...we learn about the fullness of life.
I also believe that everyone's personal history is instrumental to their family and the growth of future generations. All stories need to be told and an audience is waiting.
Why tell it Now?
There is never a moment like the present to begin sharing stories with future generations.
People often think that at another time, on another day, in another place they will sit down with family members and share their wisdom and stories. In the busyness of life with people rushing from one place to the next an ideal time never really presents itself.
So we have to make the time. We have to slow down and dive into the story of our life to share our treasure trove of memories with those that are closest.
Why Share it with ME?
I have loved stories for as long as I can remember. As an avid reader, storyteller, radio DJ and voiceover artist stories have been woven into every aspect of my life. I am drawn to the uniquely beautiful, flawed and brave human experience.
The skill that I bring as an interviewer is born from my deep desire to know others and the years I spent interviewing everyone from James Brown to U.S. Surgeon General Dr. C. Everett Koop.
While sharing your story, you will discover the process is both powerful and enjoyable. We will walk together through your life’s adventures and misadventures and find meaning in those moments.
